Share a Story, Shape a Future is an annual literacy blog tour created to share ideas and celebrate literacy in all forms. I participated in my first Share a Story, Shape a Future blog tour last year. I was honored to be a guest of Jen Robinson’s on her blog, Jen Robinson’s Book Page. This year, I’m honored to have her as a guest as I take my first stab at hosting a day for the tour!
This is just a preview post. During the week of March 7th we will begin to Unwrap the Gift of Literacy. On Tuesday, March 8th, I will have six amazing guests on Literacy Toolbox speaking about the “gift of reading.” Here is an introduction to this year’s participants:

Dawn Morris blogs at Moms Inspire Learning where she provides simple resources and strategies to inspire lifelong learning, reading and leading.
Trina O’Gorman is a mom of two boys and blogs about their love for books at Book Loving Boys. She is currently hosting a Flat Stanley Adventure Exchange to connect kids and books across the country.
Jen Robinson blogs at Jen Robinson’s Book Page where she promotes the love of books for children and the continued reading of children’s books by adults.
Chris Singer runs the blog Book Dads where their mission is to highlight books which show fatherhood in a positive light.
Melissa Taylor blogs at Imagination Soup. She was just named Colorado delegate for Parenting Magazine’s Mom Congress and she won a 2010 Parent Blogger Award!
